We were honored to screen the Twitter documentary, Twittamentary during the 2012 Social Media Tulsa Conference.
Now, you can watch the movie right here on the #SMTulsa blog. Even better, host your own screening.
A portion of the proceeds will go to support #SMTulsa friend, Mark Horvath’s @Invisiblepeople
What is Twittamentary?
Twittamentary explores how lives meet and affect one another on the fast growing micro-blogging phenomena that is Twitter.
Twitter users have contributed stories on a single theme: How Twitter has affected your life and the lives of those around you. What’s your Twitter story? The documentary is directed by Singaporean filmmaker and Tweeter, Tan Siok Siok
Why Screen Twittamentary?
Screen Twittamentary for your office to help you and your co-workers understand Twitter.
Screen Twittamentary for your organization to show how other people are making a difference using Twitter.
Screen Twittamentary during your next meetup, tweetup, or networking event and tweet along with the movie.
GoMo is a Google-led initiative dedicated to helping businesses “Go Mobile” by providing them with the tools and resources they need to make their websites more mobile-friendly. On the GoMo website, businesses can see how their sites look on a mobile device using the GoMoMeter tool and get personalized recommendations for creating a more mobile-friendly experience.
The How to go mo web site also has information on current mobile trends and mobile site best practices, as well as a list of developers ready to help companies build their mobile sites.
I highly recommend going to the site and testing your site’s mobile readiness. Once you test your site, you’ll also be able to download a complete guide to help you mobilize.
I use the wordpress plug in WPTouch to mobilize this site, but I’m going to spend some time with the GoMo sites to make sure you have a better mobile experience here. Hopefully 5 out of 5.
